Before Y O G A there was A R T.
I walked into my first art class at 4 years old. I was immediately drawn to the large easel and tiny bench I had to sit on. I spent more time in that art studio than anywhere else. The idea that I could create anything with just a pencil and paper was absolutely fascinating. The watercolors, the oil pastels, the sculpting, the oil paints... it was all pure happiness to me.
Art was a way for me to express myself where words didn't suffice. It truly saved me.
Once I found yoga, art took a backseat, and I really allowed it to slip away from me. I felt a hole beginning to open in my soul. It grew bigger and deeper as my sketchbook collected dust.
Recently I have found a way to incorporate my TRUE LOVE of yoga, art, and the inspiration I draw from IG to satisfy my soul entirely.
