SWEET PORTO, PORTO, PORTUGAL | 2019
We took the train from Lisbon to Porto, making our way to Sweet Porto, where we could call home for the next few days. The weather had gone from record breaking heat only a week ago in Madrid, to gloomy and grey.
My body took is as a que to slow down and rest and enjoy the rain. When I wasn’t teaching a yoga class for the guests at the hotel, I was enjoying the very European balcony and view from our room, sipping port wine and nibbling on strawberries.
Sweet Porto Apartments was centrally located on a main avenue lined with shops, cafes and restaurants. I stayed in the Bloom House, which is more like a guest house concept, and we definitely felt at home!
If you find yourself in the old city of Porto, make sure to check out Nola Kitchen! “NOLA” is short for no labels! This restaurant offers straightforward, clean and delicious food. No additives, just real food, from the farm to the table to you!
Next stop, back to Barcelona where I will be painting a mural! S T A Y T U N E D.
