CO-CREATING

I didn’t have any friends when I moved to Austin, but it didn’t take long for me to connect with other female creatives. I was craving new connections, and other minds to help me bring my visions to life.

Although I could feel my childlike hesitation of reaching out to new people, but my desire to create was more powerful and the results speak for themselves.

Here is a recent shoot I did with photographer, Julia & friend/model/videographer, Alex in a dried out creek bed in Austin, Texas.

I hope this serves as a reminder of how valuable it is to put ourselves out there, even if it feels scary at first, to be open to how much magic can unfold. I allowed myself to be vulnerable and meet new artists and collaborate on new projects, at the risk of being rejected or judged. I am so used to doing so much of my creative process by myself, that it felt like such a treat to bounce ideas off of other creatives and enjoy their point of view.

Whenever I work with others, it inspires more ideas that continuously expand off of one another.

I invite you to reach out to your own creative community and see what you can come up with!
